The whole family can find something to enjoy
at the 2016 Toronto AutoShow
Toronto, ON - With a little something for everyone, the 2016 Canadian International AutoShow is a great place to come out and celebrate Family Day on Monday, Feb. 15 -- or anytime the show is open from Feb. 12 to Feb. 21. The event is taking place in downtown Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The show offers exciting activities, prizes for the whole family and exclusive giveaways.
Today's AutoShow offers so much more than just the newest cars on the market, says Jason Campbell, general manager of the AutoShow. Between all the features and attractions, bringing the kids to the AutoShow is the perfect way to spend your Family Day.
You can start the day with the Volkswagen Family Admission Ticket - $45 for two adults and two children (aged 7-12). Children aged 6 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
Once inside, there is a full roster of attractions to keep everyone busy and entertained.
The Xbox One Gaming Zone puts racing fun in the palm of your hands with the ultimate car fantasy on Forza Motorsport 6. Test your skills at the Xbox One Gaming Area on the 600 level and enter for your chance to win a Xbox One Console - only on Family Day.
There are video game simulators throughout the AutoShow, including a Forza racing simulator at the Ford Performance Zone, and other simulators at Goodwood Kartways, Formula Drift Canada and Toyota.
The Ford Performance Zone on the 800 level will also feature a mini basketball challenge where you can shoot some hoops.
Young performers from the Canadian Music Competition will be performing live in the Steinway Lounge in the Auto Exotica exhibit from noon to 5 pm on Family Day.
Speaking of Auto Exotica, the dream cars in this exhibit are always an exciting draw for people of all ages.
If mom and dad want to browse some of the cars and the young ones are getting restless, drop them off at the Volkswagen Children's Playcare Centre. It offers free professional daycare service filled with exciting activities for your children - arts and crafts, interactive activities and more. The Volkswagen Children's Playcare Centre is located on Level 600 in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
